Renovation works include replacement of the entire roof system including ceiling; electrical and plumbing upgrades; replacement of doors, windows, burglar bars and locks; power washing of walls, and exterior and interior painting. The cost of the renovation works is a little over $82,000.00, and is being entirely funded by the Trust. The maintenance of the building will be done in house by maintenance personnel from the Corozal Community Hospital. Maintenance of grounds will be done by the San Narciso Village Council on a monthly basis. The total investment by the Trust for these two projects totals a little over $332,000.00. Work on these two health projects will commence immediately. The Independence project is expected to take eighteen (18) weeks to complete while the San Narciso renovation is expected to be completed within ten (10) weeks.
