Louisiana Bleachers & Canopies Project Inauguration

Belmopan City, Monday, October 6th, 2014 – The BELIZE Natural Energy Charitable Trust is pleased to have partnered with Louisiana Government School located in Orange Walk Town to fund one 40’ bleacher and two 14’ canopies.  In July 2014, the Trust approved a $30,000 grant to the school to complete this badly needed facility, which will now provide adequate and comfortable seating to the spectators attending the various sporting games held at the school’s football field. The inauguration of the facility was held on Sunday morning, October 5th, 2014 and the guest speaker was the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Natural Resources & Agriculture, Hon. Gaspar Vega.

The Trust takes this opportunity to applaud the management and staff of Louisiana Government School for their dedication and commitment in working for the welfare of the students entrusted in their care as well as to improving the social environment at their school and facilitating the development of our youth.  The Trust is committed to continue working closely with our partners to unlock the potential of the Belizean people and is proud to engage in meaningful partnerships such as this that seeks to advance the development of our Country.
